The homework is supposed to stay in the binder all week, and they are NOT supposed to do the whole thing in one night. Occasionally, the kids turned in their homework early, not realizing that it wasn’t time. That was the only problem that we had with that. Of course, this happens with any homework situation.

It is important for your child to complete homework because it reinforces skills and knowledge learned in the classroom. A weekly homework sheet will be sent home in your child's F.R.O.G.S folder on Monday along with the any sheets necessary for each night's homework. Please find additional information about F.R.O.G.S folders and homework below.
Homework usually runs Monday through Thursday with no homework on Fridays. Homework will be to read each night for 20 minutes and complete the following assignments nightly. This unit's writing prompts can be found in their homework folders. They should be reading from a research book related to the informational texts we are studying in class.
